Are you moving, retiring, or simply looking for a way to reduce the volume of your personal academic library?
We are always looking for more stock in European history, particularly French, and quality academic and university press books. If you have books to sell, as specialists we guarantee that we will pay more for your collection than will your local generalist book dealer, who often will not be conscious of the value of many out-of-print academic titles. For exceptionally high-value items such as large sets or rare antiquarian books, we may not be able to make you an offer to purchase, but we're happy to take such items on consignment for a commission of 25% of the final sale price (to be paid only when the item sells, of course).
If you are able to bring your books to Albany (or are within convenient driving distance for us, about 50 miles), we'd be delighted to meet you and make you an offer on the spot. If you are not local, we will reimburse you 50% of the final cost of shipping books to us via the Postal Service’s book rate.
